Blazer Jobs is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time position with partner school districts in the San Marcos, TX area. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about helping students develop the skills they need to succeed in school and life.
Position Requirements:
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Current Texas Occupational Therapist license issued by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners
-
Must meet Texas Education Agency (TEA) requirements for school-based practitioners (as applicable)
-
NBCOT certification (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
-
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred
-
Must pass a state and federal background check
-
Proof of immunizations and TB test may be required by the district
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assess students functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans
-
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
-
Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress
-
Adapt school environments, materials, and tasks to improve student engagement and performance
-
Document services, evaluations, and progress in compliance with district and legal standards
-
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team planning
-
Promote functional independence in academic and daily living skills
